Hey.

Those of you who've stuck with me this far might still be interested: I'm proofing the copy-edit on Caine Black Knife. So it's on track for October. So far.

That's all.

Matt,
This may be putting the cart before the horse, but is there any chance you'll be doing book signings in October for both books?

Also, any idea on whether or not Blade of Tyshalle will be back in print soon?

Thanks,
Bob

God, I hope not.

Did not enjoy the signing tour.

(Colleen -- it wasn't your fault.)

I'll probably be signing books at a con or two. And, if there appears to be sufficient interest, I might re-start my Signing PO Box, for people to ship books and book plates to.

If they want me to go on another tour, this time they have to spring for Robyn to come along. I'm not going without her.

Which they're not likely to do (they don't really like me all that much, these days), which is okay with me, because it gets me off the hook for touring.

And if they're willing to go for it, then at least I have Robyn along to keep me relatively sane.

Hey, you! Why don't you have links to the books on amazon.com? You'd be able to get associates credit as well as encourage fans to buy the books (or preorder, as Caine Black Knife is listed already). Have other authors you know tried and said "I signed up for and linked my books via Amazon Associates, and all I got was money for a single frozen pizza?"

Is CBK the official title?

CAINE BLACK KNIFE.

Yes.

Just read HD and Blade recently(been a long time Traitor fan) and loved them. And then I come here and learn that I will be able to read more about Caine, made my day =D.

I had this odd dream about your sequel last night. It was Caine and books 1 and 2 had been a nightmare illusion or somesuch, where the effects on his body (his skills and injuries) were true, but nothing else. It was an oddly detailed, psychotic thing.

MWS said...

Dammit, Aaron! Haven't you ever heard the phrase SPOILER ALERT?

It was all just a dream . . .

'Bout time too :)

But on the other Stover Writings That I've Missed front: there's politics. I know the fuckers of the current Administration are on their way out, but surely there is some new ass-hattery still coming from them, to say nothing of their potential replacements*, to warrant the Bear to awaken from hibernation craving Neo-con flesh.

* Admittedly, said ass-hattery is much reduced with Giuliani's collapse.

Hello, dear realist-fantast maestro Mattew. And hello respected fans. We waiting book together to you. "Bread and circuses, Hary, Bread and circuses" - says Duncan, right?:)
Inspiration to you, mr. Stover.

P.S. Realy sorry to blunder:)

I can't wait for this one. I loved Heroes Die and Blade of Tyshalle.

How long, compared to HD and BOT, will CBK be? My copy of HD clocks in at 535 pages and BOT at 789. Will CBK be shortest, longest or middle child?
